Dezi is a 2014 model AQHA bay mare standing 14.3 hands tall and weighing 1200 pounds. She is built beautifully with her keen head, elegant neck, and pristine muscling that never fails to catch eyes everywhere she goes!
Dezi is truly the rarity that is as versatile as she is beautiful! She has been hauled to the cowhorse shows in Texas and Oklahoma in the novice decision piloted by a young teen boy. She held her own and was a phenomenal first time show horse for him. She is always cool, calm, and collected in the arena and has quite the presence to her!
She would have beef for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if she were able to! You will be hard pressed to find a mare with more cow sense than Dezi. She has yet to let a calf by her sorting pairs in the gate and onlookers can’t help but stop and stare when she works a cow!
She has ridden the trails through the busy city and has proven a valuable asset to help with the younger riders. Dezi has been ridden English some as well and did great! Inexperienced lead line riders always pick her because she is such a quiet yet fun ride.
We have used her extensively on the ranch as well. She is SO quiet in the branding pen and never gets hot or in a hurry. She would be a great teacher for a new roper with how laid back she is.
You can leave the group as the sun comes up and know she will take care of you. Be it snow or rain, sunshine or wind, she is the one you want your saddle on if you are looking for safe and dependable!
She is barefoot and 100% sound. Pre purchase exams are welcome and encouraged and we are more than happy to help get her to her new home!
