Popeye has a lot of disciplines. He has been roped on, has done numerous 4-h shows, has been ridden by an 8 year old boy tracking steers out of the box as well. Popeye has all brains and try you can ask for he will keep up with all the big horses and do his job with ease. Popeye has been trail ridden all over the country, he’s been to state parks, over night camping trips, parades etc. Popeye will go through the rough sticky mud, over fallen logs, up and down steep rocky terrain, crosses creeks with ease. He is very sure footed with anything you do with him. He has a very nice, collected walk, trot, cantor, stops nice and backs up with ease.
