13-Year-Old Hanoverian Gelding Seeks Forever Home

I am looking for a forever home for my gelding where he can be the number one. He has been placed up to L-level show jumping. He is truly a treasure to handle. He loves trail rides (preferably at a faster pace), goofing around, groundwork, and variety. He is not a horse that needs to be pushed but rather one that requires a rider with calmness and empathy.

He is equipped with a lot of go and therefore needs an experienced and calm rider who is also consistent and gives clear aids. Otherwise, he can get stressed quickly as he wants to do everything right.

I am seeking a forever home for him where he does not have to compete in sports anymore, as this has caused him increasing stress in recent years. He is a wonderful leisure partner with a big heart.

In June of this year, he had an inflamed hock, which was the first and only time he has ever been lame. However, it has completely healed and he is currently being retrained. Due to this, I see him as a leisure partner and not in active sports anymore.

He is currently in a mixed herd during the day and holds a relatively high rank. At night, he enjoys his box as a retreat. I can also imagine box housing with daily turnout to pasture or paddock.
