Sterling is an absolute GEM! Sterling is an eye catching, dapple grey gelding! He is 6 years old, and stands 15.1 hands.
Sterling has a beautiful and smooth jog and lope to him! If you have a bad back, and needing a smooth ride he would be your guy! Sterling is very well broke in the arena, he rides one handed or two handed, he has beautiful movement, he will ride in the bridle, or on a loose rein! Ride him western, dressage or English! Sterling doesn’t mind! Sterling side passes, has a beautiful turn around and moves off the leg well, he will glide across the arena with just leg pressure.
Sterling rides phenomenal out on the ranch and trails! He has no spook, is very sure footed and loves water! He will swim, and cross fast moving creeks. He is amazing for someone who is needing their confidence back, he goes the speed you want him to and will stay that way on a loose rein. He rides alone or in a group with no issues, he has never been sour, hot, or spooky. He rides in town with no issues and walks where you point!
What we love about Sterling is he can take a joke and is stocky enough for just about anyone! We have had children and full size adults on him! Sterling enjoys being bathed, groomed and loved on. He stands quiet for the farrier and for tacking up! Load him in a stock trailer or a two horse he doesn’t mind either!
Sterling has caught cattle and would make a phenomenal pick up horse for someone needing a back up or even a main horse for the rodeos! He has been hauled and is good with new sights and loud noises.
