Er kennt es, mit einem Handpferd gemeinsam geritten zu werden, zeigt sich dabei cool, nervenstark und völlig unerschrocken. Sein freundliches und entspanntes Wesen macht ihn ideal als Kinder- oder Therapiepony. Mit entsprechender weiterer Ausbildung wäre er auch als Fahrpony gut vorstellbar. Apollo hat eine ältere Augenverletzung, wodurch sein Sichtfeld auf einem Auge eingeschränkt ist. Er kommt damit aber bestens zurecht – nicht schreckhaft, nicht unsicher, völlig problemlos im Alltag. Apollo ist verlade- und schmiedefromm, herdenverträglich mit Groß und Klein und unkompliziert im täglichen Umgang. Aufgrund der Gesundheitssituation seiner Besitzer stand er zuletzt nicht im Training, ist aber körperlich fit und bereit für neue Aufgaben. Er bringt vollumfänglichen Zubehör mit ins neue Zuhause.
