“Freckled Intoxication” aka “Malibu” is a 5yr old, 15hh, APHA gelding, with a lush mane, beautiful palomino coat, and chocolate freckles all over his body. Mali is safe, reliable, and Mr. Personality! He is an in your pocket type of dude with loads of character. Malibu can do it all, and he is ready to be your best friend! Do it all, and do it safely!

In the barn, he has zero bad habits. He can live in or out, goes out with others and can live alone. He has no bad stall habits and is quiet while stalled. He stands on the cross ties to be groomed, tacked, bathed, etc. He straight ties to the trailer to get ready. Mali is a happy go lucky guy, and loves attention. He is safe with kids and dogs running around him, cows standing with him, you name it. He is totally unbothered and knows how to take a joke! He is an easy keeper with a simple diet, no maintenance and no supplements. He is good for the vet and farrier, and can wear shoes or go barefoot. He walks up to you in the pasture and is easy to catch. He likes being around people and will make you giggle with his silly personality.

Malibu loves trail riding. He will lead, follow, go alone and in groups. He has a nice steady walk pace, and will trail ride on the buckle all day long. He is safe with traffic, bikes, strollers, wildlife and doesn’t mind my dogs trailing his heels. He crosses logs, rocks, water, and will wait for you at the porta potty. He would make a great camping partner or fox hunter. He even has the personality of a husband horse. He is always up for a good adventure, pack your saddle bags full of beer and go enjoy your ride.

Malibu rides western, english, and bareback. He is soft in your hands and rides in a simple snaffle, or even a halter and lead rope! His gaits are comfortable and uphill. He has smooth transitions and listens nicely to your cues. He is a blast to ride, and the same horse every ride. Mali is the safe horse that your kids can go jump on in the pasture and he will take care of them.

In the ring, Mali will walk, trot, canter, knows his leads, and loves to jump. He will ride collected or on the buckle. Malibu backs up nicely, pivots, side passes, neck reins, moves off of your leg, and you can ask for a big whoa, or bring him down smoothly through the gaits. He shows a lot of potential for ranch classes, low level reining fun stuff, cows, western dressage and more. He trots nicely through ground poles and is careful of where he puts his feet. He will ride off of your seat, or voice commands. Mali is forgiving and doesn’t get upset if his rider is off balance. He is just always a happy guy and enjoys every ride.
Malibu enjoys jumping too! He will pop over tiny cross rails gently, or jump larger jumps and cross country fences too! He is a natural over fences and is very good with distances. He does not get hot or forward while jumping. You’ll see how honest he is in the clips of my pup jumping the cross country jumps with us.
Malibu is a beautiful mover, and could go dabble in low level dressage, eventing, or maybe you just want a horse that will take care of you while you work on yourself!
No matter what direction you want to take him in, he is happy to do it, or go have fun and do IT ALL!!!!!

Malibu is registered with APHA. He is sired by “Intoxication” who is a beautiful stallion who has points in halter and western pleasure, who goes back to “Mighty Awesome”, a stallion who was known for his championship breeding and impact on APHA. On Mali’s bottom side, back in his lines you will see “Sonny Dee Bar”, a famous stallion who is a leading sire of show horses, known for producing great dispositions and natural talent. He was inducted into the AQHA Hall Of Fame in 2003. Malibu’s breeding speaks for itself, and has created an amazing all around boy.
