His pedigree is a valuable Holsteiner combination of the bloodlines of stallions Casall, Contender, Carthago, Calypso II, Cento, Capitol I, and Caletto II.

His father, Casallcento PS, is a horse with immense jumping power and excellent rideability. He has achieved top placements in national and international show jumping competitions.

His mother, a Thoroughbred mare, is the daughter of the outstanding Sanora, winner of the Oaks and the Great Warsaw. From Sanora descend such remarkable horses as the derby winner Solozzo, the fast Sokman, the two-time winner of the Great Warsaw, San Luis, the triple crown winner San Moritz, and the related Semilly Lascar, derby winner Soroz.

Semilly Lascar comes from the family of the 2-s mare Orville Mare, which is the same as the famous and undefeated Secretariat.

Santa Caterina gave birth to the good Santo Carro, who, after winning a race as a two-year-old at Służewiec, was sold to the Czech Republic. As a three-year-old, he won hurdle races G1 and G2 in Italy, and later in steeplechase, he won G2 and placed third in G1.
