Er wurde im Anschluss kastriert, zeigt jedoch nach wie vor ein selbstbewusstes Auftreten und bevorzugt daher die Gesellschaft von Wallachen oder Hengsten. Charly ist kein Anfänger- oder Kinderpferd – er braucht eine erfahrene, ruhige Bezugsperson. Er hat Asthma, darum sollte sein neues Zuhause ein Offenstall oder ein Aktivstall sein. Mit inhalieren von Sole und einen luftigen Stall ist er sympthomfrei.
