Juliet is a stunning 14-hand buckskin mare with three high white socks, a black mane and tail, and eye-catching dapples. Her size makes her ideal for children or smaller adults. At 10 years old, she has plenty of experience under saddle and a calm, willing demeanor that makes her stand out. She’s been ridden extensively on trails, including trips through the Black Hills and Palo Duro Canyon, as well as across rivers and along highways. For the past two years, Juliet has been a steady and reliable horse in a lesson program, working with intermediate riders. She excels on the trail and in parades, showing excellent surefootedness and confidence in a variety of situations. Juliet has impeccable ground manners, stands quietly for the farrier, and is easy to mount from a block or even a picnic table. She is not spooky and has no history of bucking, biting, or kicking. Juliet is as easy to care for as she is to ride. She loads into any type of trailer, does well in both stalls and pasture, and requires no special feed or maintenance. She is comfortable barefoot or shod and can be ridden English, Western, or bareback. No matter the discipline or setting, Juliet is a willing, dependable partner. Located in Lisbon, IA.
