If you're looking for a horse that has the looks, the mind, and the versatility to do just about anything, then Boon is one you won't want to miss. Standing 15.1 hands, this handsome blue roan gelding is built exactly the way one should be—stout, balanced, athletic, and eye-catching. His flashy color and presence make him a standout everywhere he goes, and he's the kind of horse people stop to admire.
Boon is as honest and dependable on the trail as they come. He'll confidently go wherever you point him, whether it's through water, thick brush, over downed timber, across rough terrain, alone or in a group, or down busy roads with traffic. He's sure-footed, level-headed, and always willing to tackle whatever is put in front of him, making him an enjoyable partner for riders who love to explore.
On the ranch, Boon is just as impressive. My 7-year-old son, Bronc, absolutely loves gathering cattle on him. Boon has a natural cow sense that makes working livestock fun and easy, and he handles a day's work with the same quiet, willing attitude he brings everywhere else. He's the kind of horse you can rely on when there's a job to do.
In the arena, Boon is soft, responsive, and easy to ride. He moves willingly off your seat and leg cues, has smooth, easy gate changes, and offers a comfortable ride every time you swing a leg over him. He has all the tools to excel in ranch versatility, but he's just as happy heading down the trail, working cattle, riding into town, or taking you to a horse show. His willing attitude and athletic ability make him a horse that can fit into a variety of programs.
Boons pedigree speaks for itself. He is by Lazy K Blue Cat, a son of Boonlight All Stars, and out of Lady Peptodriftschip, combining proven cow horse bloodlines with the disposition and versatility everyone is looking for.
Whether you're looking for your next ranch horse, trail partner, ranch versatility prospect, or simply a beautiful blue roan gelding you can enjoy for years to come, Boon is ready to go to work and be your next favorite horse. Horses with his combination of color, conformation, disposition, and ability don't come around often. Boon truly is the kind that can do it all.
