Louie is not just a horse, he is a member of the family. He is the kind of horse that everyone falls in love with and acts more like a big dog than a horse. He is right on 16 hands tall, full made and is a gorgeous buckskin roan color. Don't let his size fool you, he is a gentle giant type. He is the rare kind that you can do a job on and then throw the kids up there and let them ride him around. He is always willing to do whatever is asked of him.

Louie has excelled at everything we’ve thrown his way and has been a complete superstar for our family. Every member of our family has ridden him at one time or another, and he has always been dependable, gentle, and trustworthy.

He has been ridden extensively in the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado, gathered and penned numerous cattle, and has even been used to judge multiple Chuckwagon races. We have roped the heel-o matic, pulled the kids behind him in the sled, flown a kite off of him and the kids have done everything you can imagine with him. Whether it's on a mountain, through the woods, or main street downtown he will go wherever you point him confidently. He is seasoned, experienced, and stays honest no matter the job.

Louie is stout made enough, handy enough and good minded enough to make a jam up performance horse if someone's looking for a great prospect. He has also been ridden English and taken over small jumps. Whatever you throw at him, he gives it his all.

Louie hauls well, stands for clipping and shoeing, ties quietly on the line, and lopes collected circles the way a good horse should. He is 6years old, registered AQHA, stands right at 16 hands and weighs around 1,150 pounds making him the perfect size and age to go in any direction someone chooses. He has always been solid and as safe and kind as they come.
