Every great adventure starts with a spark… and that spark is Flint! Built to work, bred to please, and gentle enough for the entire family, Flint is the kind of horse that turns first-time riders into lifelong horse lovers. He’s the horse everyone hopes to find but very few ever do. Our 8-year-old daughter, Lynnlee, has ridden Flint everywhere imaginable, and we are completely confident he’ll take care of anyone who climbs aboard. If you’re looking for a confidence builder, Flint is exactly that. He’s patient, forgiving of beginner mistakes, and has a calm, willing attitude that helps riders of every age and experience level feel comfortable and successful. Whether you’re headed down the trail, working cattle on the ranch, competing under English tack, or hitching him to a carriage, Flint approaches every job with the same steady, dependable attitude. He’s one-hand broke, lopes beautiful slow, collected circles, has a great stop, and is equally happy riding western, English, or bareback. Under English tack, Flint enjoys jumping and confidently takes his rider over the rails. Outside the arena is where Flint truly shines. He’s been ridden through the rugged Ozark and Appalachian Mountains, confidently navigating steep hills, rocky terrain, creeks, deep water, boggy mud, deadfall, ditches, and whatever else nature puts in his path. He’s exceptionally sure-footed and always seems to choose the safest route. Traffic? No problem. Flint has been ridden through town, down busy highways, across sidewalks, up and down steps, and around cars and trucks without batting an eye. He’s even been through bank and fast-food drive-thrus, proving just how trustworthy and level-headed he really is. On the ranch, Flint is the real deal. Gather cattle, check fences, sort pairs, or rope and doctor a sick calf—he knows the job and stays quiet while you work. When the workday is done, hitch him to a harness and enjoy a relaxing carriage ride with the family. He’s broke to drive and is just as dependable between the shafts as he is under saddle. Flint is also trick trained, making him as entertaining as he is useful. He’ll sidepass to a mounting block to help you climb aboard, lay down on command, and even sit up like a dog. Family horse. Ranch horse. Trail horse. Driving horse. English horse. Trick horse. Confidence builder. If you’re looking for one horse that can ignite a lifetime of memories, strike while the iron is hot—Flint is ready to light the way.
