Buster stammt aus einer großen Kuhkälberzucht im großen Bundesstaat New Mexico. Er hat lange Tage der Rancharbeit hinter sich. Er war schon in steilem, felsigem Gelände unterwegs und ist so trittsicher wie eine Bergziege. Er weiß immer, was unter ihm ist und macht keinen Schritt daneben. Er ist sehr einfach zu reiten, hat einen schönen, versammelten Kopf und eine weiche, einhändige Zügelführung. Er wurde als Tagespferd für Reitanfänger eingesetzt. Er würde ein schönes Trailpferd sein, da er viel Erfahrung in den schwierigen Bergen hat. Er wurde an den Ball, die Plane und die Flagge herangeführt und hat Gefallen an all den fremden Dingen gefunden, die er noch nie zuvor gesehen hat. Buster wurde auf belebten, überfüllten Straßen und auf vielen Wegen geritten, ohne zu zögern. Buster ist sehr umgänglich und lässt sich problemlos aufsatteln. Auf dem Reitplatz nimmt er seine beiden Führstricke gut auf und reagiert gut auf Beinarbeit. Buster lässt sich über lange Zeit ruhig anbinden, anschnallen und in jeden Anhänger verladen. Er fühlt sich auf der Weide mit anderen Pferden wohl, aber auch im Stall macht es ihm nichts aus. Er geht alleine aus oder freut sich, wenn er auf dem Trail Freunde dabei hat. Buster ist ein Pferd, das weiß, worauf es bei einem langen Arbeitstag ankommt, und unter dem Sattel ist er ganz bei der Sache. Buster came off a big cow calf operation in the big country state of New Mexico. He has done long days of ranch work. He has been is some steep, rocky country and will be as sure footed as a mountain goat. Always knowing what’s under neath him and never missing a step. He is very easy to ride has a nice collected head set and a soft touch one hand neck rein. He has been used has a day rider horse for beginner riders. He would be a nice trail horse since he has extensive experience out in the tricky mountains. He has been introduced to the ball, tarp and flag and has taken a liking to all of the foreign things he’s never seen before. Buster has been ridden in busy crowded streets and down many roads without any hesitation. Buster is easy to get along with and stands to saddle up easy. In the arena he picks up both his leads maneuvers nicely and responds well to leg cues. Buster ties quietly for long periods, clips and loads up in any trailer. He is great in a pasture setting with others, or in a stall he doesn’t mind either. He goes out alone or happy to have friends along on the trail. Buster is a no nonsense horse who knows what a long days job is all about, and is all business under saddle.
