He has been color tested by UC Davis and is a rare perlino color which means genetically he is a buckskin with two cream genes. This 14.2H, stout built, 2018 model gelding is not only a cool color but his pedigree is top notch as well, going back to Hollywood Dun It on the Top and High Brow Cat on the bottom. This beautiful blue eyed gelding has been trail ridden a lot, and he has been exposed to all kinds of trail obstacles. He has no buck or silliness no matter how long you give him off. He loves attention, he meets you at the gate, and he will do anything you ask him to do. This nice gelding has very smooth gaits. He is used to rocky terrain and crossing bridges and logs. He is also great in the arena, he picks up both leads with ease and lopes slow and correct circles on a loose rein. Preacher is very low headed and would make a great ranch pleasure or ranch riding horse. He has a slow jog and lope that is so smooth you can ride long periods of time very comfortably. He’s got a nice easy stop that he really hunts for and solid gait transitions. He has good handle, he sidepasses, counterbends, neckreins, and he backs up softly. He is very soft in the face and rides great in just a snaffle, but he will also ride in any kind of bridle you would like. He has been exposed to loud noises, ropes, traffic, dogs, water, and bridges and he takes it all in stride. I really can’t say enough good things about him. Preacher is also trained to lay down. He is the kind you don’t find every day. He can go in any direction you want him. He is sound. He has a current coggins and he is up to date on all of his farrier, dental, worming, and vaccinations.
