He stands 13.2 hands, perfect size for the kids and yet stocky enough to carry the adults. We have used Chief in every aspect of ranch work possible. He has spent many days sorting and penning cattle at the sale barns. We have used Chief to pasture rope and doctor calves on!! He has his share of miles on the calf sled as well. In the arena Chief has been used on the heeling end and started in the breakaway. He is very quiet in the box and comes out flat every time.
