Dann ist Leroy Brown genau das Richtige. Er ist ein 10-jähriger Appaloosa-Wallach, der als Grade verkauft wird, aber Abstammung von Duel Ray und Peppy San Badger im Blut hat. Er ist etwa 15 Hand groß und besitzt die begehrte Farbgebung. Leroy ist ein echter Blickfang, egal wo er hinkommt, er zieht alle Blicke auf sich. Wenn du schon immer von einem einmaligen Pferd geträumt hast, ist Leroy dein Traumpferd. Für ihn gibt es keine Aufgabe, die zu groß oder zu klein ist. Er ist stets bemüht, seinem Besitzer zu gefallen. Leroy wurde früher als Pickup-Pferd bei Rodeos eingesetzt, hat Rinder im Weideland geroppt und auf dem Viehmarkt gearbeitet. Seitdem ich ihn habe, haben wir mehrere Trailritte unternommen, Hindernisse überwunden, sogar durch den Dairy Queen Drive-Thru, den Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru und die Innenstadt. Er wird nie nervös, liebt Aufmerksamkeit und ist zuverlässig, sicher und ehrlich. Leroy bewältigt alle Hindernisse, schwimmt durch Wasser, überquert Bäche, Brücken, Baumstämme und steile Hänge – einfach aufzeigen und los geht’s. Er hat eine echte Einhand-Nackenrein, ist sehr weich im Maul, kann seitwärts passen, um Tore zu öffnen und zu schließen, hält an, wenn man es ihm sagt, und wechselt mühelos die Führungen. Leroy ist egal, ob mit Trense, Halfter, Halsring oder Grasstrick geritten wird – er trägt den Kopf stets ruhig und geht gelassen voran. Er steht hervorragend beim Hufschmied, beim Baden, beim An- und Ablegen sowie beim Aufsitzen. Auch im Stall zeigt er gute Manieren und lädt problemlos in den Trailer ein und aus. Look no further then Leroy Brown. He is a 10yr old Appaloosa gelding he’s selling grade but goes back to Duel Ray and Peppy San Badger on top side. He stands 15 hands tall and has all the color appeal you could want. He’s by far an eye catcher wherever he goes he gets noticed. If you’ve ever wanted that once in a lifetime horse Leroy is the one. There’s no job too big or too small for him. He’s one to want to please his owner. Leroy has been previously used as a pickup horse at rodeos, roped cattle in the pasture and worked at the stockyards. Since I’ve owned him, we have gone on several trail rides, through obstacles, Dairy Queen drive-thru, Chick-fil-a drive-thru and downtown. He does not get excited and loves all the attention he can get. Leroy is the trusty partner to get you through anything you ask him and be honest, sure-footed and safe. He will do all the obstacles, swim through water, cross creeks, bridges, logs, up and down steep hills you point him and he is going. Leroy has a true one hand neck rein, he’s very soft in the face, will side pass to open and close gates, stops when asked and takes both his leads with ease. Leroy doesn’t care if you ride him with a bridle, halter, neck rope or grass string he always carries his head level and just walks right along. He stands great for the farrier, baths, tacking/untacking, and mounting. He does great in a stall as well and has great stall manners. He loads in and out of the trailer with ease. Il ne s’énerve pas et adore toute l’attention qu’on lui porte. Leroy est un partenaire fiable, prêt à vous accompagner dans toutes vos activités, honnête, sûr de lui, et sécurisé. Il franchit tous les obstacles, nage dans l’eau, traverse ruisseaux, ponts, logs, montées et descentes escarpées : il suffit de le guider, et il y va. Il possède une vraie rêne de cou à une main, très douce en bouche, peut faire un side pass pour ouvrir et fermer les portes, s’arrête sur commande, et passe aisément d’un pied à l’autre. Leroy n’a pas besoin d’être monté avec un filet : il peut aussi bien porter un licol, une corde de cou ou une corde d’herbe, et il garde toujours la tête à hauteur, marchant tranquillement à votre rythme. Il se tient parfaitement pour le maréchal, le bain, le harnachement/désharnachement, et la monte. Il est également très à l’aise en boxe et a de bonnes manières en box.
