HARLEQUIN COUGAR barn name “Freckles” is a 12 year old registered Appaloosa gelding who is as pretty, smart and talented as they come! He has that goofy, bubbly, “golden retriever” personality that so many people wish for! Freckles is very well broke and educated. He has spent a lot of time in the show ring and has won many ribbons in 4H club! He has done the showmanship classes, trail course challenges, gaming events and hunter classes! Freckles is also very well seasoned on the trails and takes any obstacle with ease. We have exposed him to a lot around the farm and nothing much phases him - cattle, dogs, tarps, balls, scooters, bikes, ATVs, tractors, trucks, kids etc! This is a horse that has been there done that and will enjoy it everytime! He loves to be with his people and really aims to please. Freckles is the sweetest horse in the barn, he loves being groomed and doted on and will literally fall asleep while getting his mane braided! Always the first one to greet you in the morning and easy to catch! He gets along in a mixed herd but stalls well also. He’s a pretty easy keeper on an all-forage based diet. No maintenance or supplements and no vices or bad habits. He is a good boy for all the normal barn tasks and he’s excellent for the vet, farrier and dentist!
