Dieser braune Wallach ist fast vier Jahre lang zum Wachsen auf der Wiese in Irland groß geworden. Seit Dezember 2025 ist er bei uns in Deutschland und gewöhnt sich an das Leben hier. Jetzt ist er seit zwei Wochen unter dem Sattel und macht seine Sache sehr gut. Im Umgang ist er noch etwas skeptisch, sobald man drauf sitzt ist die Skepsis verflogen. Umwelteinflüsse machen ihm nichts aus, er kennt Trecker Kunde und spielende Kinder. Beim Hufschmied braucht er noch Routine und etwas Ruhe. Er geht in der Halle und auf dem Platz war er auch schon ohne Probleme. Er kennt gemischte Weidehaltung, steht bei uns in der Boxenhaltung. Leider haben wir festgestellt, dass er manchmal in der Futterzeit koppt. Draußen macht er das nicht. Der Anfang als Reitpferd ist nun gemacht. Wir hoffen, er findet eine Person, die ihm das Koppen verzeiht , evtl., einen Offenstall hat, dann wird er ein patentes Pferd für lange Zeit. Der günstige Preis ist dem Koppen geschuldet.

This brown gelding has been growing up on a pasture in Ireland for nearly four years. Since December 2025, he has been with us in Germany and is gradually getting used to life here. He has been under saddle for two weeks now and is doing very well. He is still somewhat cautious in handling, but once mounted, his skepticism quickly disappears. Unfortunately, we have noticed that he sometimes bites during feeding time; he does not do this outdoors. The initial step as a riding horse has now been taken. We hope he finds a person who can forgive his nipping, perhaps someone with an open stable, so he can become a lively and reliable riding horse for many years to come. The affordable price is due to his nipping behavior.

Questo castrone castano è cresciuto per quasi quattro anni al pascolo in Irlanda. Da dicembre 2025 si trova in Germania con noi e si sta abituando alla vita qui. È stato già portato in maneggio e in arena senza problemi. È abituato a un’alimentazione mista al pascolo, attualmente sta in box. Purtroppo abbiamo notato che a volte morde durante la somministrazione del cibo, ma non lo fa all’aperto. Ora ha iniziato la sua carriera da cavallo da dressage. Speriamo trovi una persona che possa perdonargli questa abitudine di mordere, magari con un box all’aperto, così potrà diventare un cavallo vivace e affidabile per molti anni. Il prezzo conveniente è dovuto proprio a questa abitudine.
