Paddy ist ein 6-jähriges Irish Sport Horse und ein unglaublich lieber und verschmuster Wallach. Er ist für jeden Spaß zu haben, liebt Wasser und geht für sein Leben gerne baden. Im Jahr 2024 wurde Paddy regelmäßig geritten. Wir sind ihn sogar häufig nur mit Halfter und ohne Sattel beziehungsweise mit einem Pad geritten – das hat immer sehr gut funktioniert. Auch meine 14-jährige Schwester kam stets gut mit ihm zurecht. Anfang 2025 hatte Paddy leichte Probleme mit seinem linken Knie. Nachdem er von der Weide kam, zeigte er eine leichte Lahmheit. Nach mehreren osteopathischen Behandlungen lief er wieder problemlos. Aus Zeitmangel habe ich ihn anschließend jedoch nicht wieder richtig antrainiert, sondern seitdem regelmäßig vom Boden aus gearbeitet. Paddy arbeitet motiviert mit und geht auch sehr gut an der Doppellonge. Daher könnte ich ihn mir mit einer entsprechenden Ausbildung ebenfalls gut als Fahrpferd vor der Kutsche vorstellen. Er ist im Umgang unkompliziert und lässt sich sehr gut verladen. Paddy gibt selbstverständlich alle vier Hufe, ist Barhufer und wird alle sechs Wochen ausgeschnitten. Aktuell muss Paddy noch einmal behutsam angeschoben und neu antrainiert werden. Wer ihm die nötige Zeit gibt, wird anschließend sehr viel Freude mit diesem tollen Pferd haben. Mir ist wichtig, für Paddy ein liebevolles und dauerhaftes Zuhause zu finden, in dem er die Aufmerksamkeit und Beschäftigung bekommt, die er verdient.

In 2024, Paddy was regularly ridden. We even often rode him just with a halter and without a saddle, or with a pad — which worked very well. Following several osteopathic treatments, he recovered without any problems. However, due to lack of time, I didn’t re-train him properly afterward but have since worked with him regularly from the ground. He works with motivation and responds very well to lunging. Therefore, with appropriate training, I could also see him as a driving horse pulling a carriage. He is uncomplicated in handling and loads very easily. Paddy naturally gives all four hooves, is barefoot, and is trimmed every six weeks. Currently, he needs to be gently reintroduced and re-trained. Those who give him the time and patience will enjoy a lot of pleasure with this wonderful horse. It is very important to me to find a loving and permanent home for Paddy where he will receive the attention and activity he deserves.

Paddy est un hongre de 6 ans, cheval de sport irlandais, extrêmement doux et câlin. Il est prêt à tout pour s’amuser, adore l’eau et aime beaucoup se baigner. En 2024, Paddy a été monté régulièrement. Nous l’avons même souvent monté simplement avec un licol, sans selle ou avec un tapis – cela a toujours très bien fonctionné. Paddy travaille avec motivation et répond très bien à la longe en double. Je peux donc également l’envisager comme cheval d’attelage, à condition qu’il reçoive une formation adaptée. Il est facile à manipuler et se laisse très bien charger. Paddy donne bien volontiers ses quatre sabots, il est pieds nus et est paré tous les six semaines. Actuellement, Paddy doit encore être doucement remis en route et rééduqué. Quiconque lui donnera le temps nécessaire pourra ensuite profiter pleinement de ce merveilleux cheval. Il est important pour moi de lui offrir un foyer aimant et durable, où il recevra l’attention et l’activité qu’il mérite.
