Turner is a 6-year-old Belgian/QH cross gelding standing 15.1 hands, and he’s the kind that’s hard not to like. Turner has miles of trail rides under his belt. He’ll ride at the front, hang at the back, or settle in the middle, wherever you put him, he’s happy. Water, logs, steep hills up or down, he just goes about his business without any fuss. He’s been there and done that, and it shows. He’s a versatile guy, too. You can clean him up and take him in the English ring, or throw on your trail saddle and head out for a relaxing ride. He’s always the same steady horse, no matter the plan for the day. Turner stands patiently while mounting and dismounting. He has 3 comfortable gaits and smooth transitions. Quiet, easygoing, level-headed, and reliable sum him up. His walk, trot, and lope are smooth and steady; just an easy, enjoyable ride every time. He also side passes, backs up, and knows how to use his body. He has jumped a course, then turned around and was used in a session teaching veterans how to interact with and ride horses. He has done countless lessons with special needs students. Turner is always 100% into work. He acts like an old soul. He’s been around all types of livestock, and it does not faze him. Traffic and heavy equipment don’t bother him. Turner has a kind and expressive eye and loves to please! No health issues, no special feed requirements.
