Denali is a flashy, chromed-up, big, beautiful Belgian gelding standing 17.2 hands and wearing a size 6 shoe. He is one that has a lot of look and eye appeal to him. Denali is very well broke to drive and ride both Western & English. He is safe, sound, solid, and extremely easy and enjoyable.
Denali has been ridden out on the trails, through the water, over brush, and around the cows. He is safe, solid, and level-headed about everything you point him at. He is great to go out on his own or will follow or lead the pack. He will go all day and is sure-footed. He is not a spooky or reactive horse.
Denali has been ridden English and has been started over fences. He is bold to fences and is quite athletic for a big guy. He jumps with natural ability and willingness.
Denali will walk, trot, and lope pretty circles. He is easy to make go and stop. He is user-friendly and forgiving. He stands quietly for the mounting block. We have exposed him to as much as possible, from dogs, kids, side-by-sides, quads, tarps, logs, water, roads, etc. He is very good-minded and takes new things very well.
Denali is well broke to drive both farm equipment and a wagon. He has been used for spring work and baling hay, as well as driven down the roads and through town giving rides. He will step right over the tongue, stands quietly to hitch, backs, and swings gee and haw well. His teammate, Teton, a 5-year-old Belgian gelding, is also available if you wish to acquire both as a team.
Denali is a joy to have around the barn. He is easy to catch, pastures well with others, and has great ground manners. He is good with his feet, baths, hauling, standing tied, and hauls quietly and respectfully. He has never offered to buck, bolt, rear, or be silly.
