With a heavy heart, we must part ways with our Fjord gelding Masou. This decision was not easy for us, but due to personal reasons, we are closing our private horsekeeping entirely. We purchased Masou directly from the breeder as a foal. He initially spent two years on the breeding pasture and has been with us ever since, becoming a loyal, personable young horse who has grown close to our family.

Color: Gray dun

Breed: Norwegian / Fjord horse

Character & Daily Routine:
Masou is very gentle, affectionate, and curious. Like many ponies, he can sometimes show a bit of stubbornness.

He received nearly two months of training, during which the following was worked on:

- Liberty work (leading, following)
- "Falling Leaves" – hand changes at the longe line
- Desensitization training: tarps, mats, flutter tapes, wippies, step stool, rattling bag
- Lunging on both reins in walk, trot, canter, stopping, changing directions, over poles, with variable distances
- Double longe and classical groundwork in walk
- Saddling and standing calmly during mounting
- Leaving the paddock

With appropriate training, Masou, like our other horse Minero, can develop into a reliable leisure and trail riding partner.

Health & Care:

- Regular tetanus and influenza vaccinations (next tetanus shot due January 2026)
- Dewormed every three months (most recently on November 30, 2025)
- Open stable management with sand paddock and 24/7 hay supply (we have recently introduced grazing breaks, as he has gained some weight due to limited movement)
- He is in excellent health!

He also shows no bad habits, is always cooperative with the farrier and veterinarian, and loads calmly into a trailer.

We are looking for a loving home, not for sale to dealers or riding schools.
