Filino ist ein ca. 175 cm großer, typvoller Wallach mit viel Ausstrahlung und einem äußerst freundlichen Wesen. Er ist sehr menschenbezogen, verschmust und genießt jede Aufmerksamkeit. Im Umgang zeigt er sich stets brav und unkompliziert – egal ob beim Putzen, Schmied oder Verladen. Erste Turniererfahrungen durfte er bereits sammeln und ist Dressurpferde A platziert. Auch beim Auswärtstrainings benimmt er sich vorbildlich. Unter dem Sattel ist Filino ein feines, sehr sensibles Pferd, das mit seinem Reiter harmonieren möchte. Er reagiert ehrlich auf die Hilfen und braucht einen ruhigen, gefühlvollen Reiter, der ihm Sicherheit vermittelt. Aufgrund seiner Sensibilität ist er nicht für Anfänger geeignet, sondern eher für einen ambitionierten Reiter, der Freude daran hat, mit einem feinen Pferd zu arbeiten und ihn weiter zu fördern. Vor etwa einem Jahr wurden Röntgenaufnahmen angefertigt – diese waren ohne Befund. Filino überzeugt nicht nur mit seiner eleganten Erscheinung, sondern auch mit seinem liebenswerten Charakter.
