Sein Vater, der belgische Zuchthengst Pegase van ’t Ruytershof (Comme Il Faut x Cartani), ist ein Springpferd auf 1,55 m Niveau (Jeroen De Winter) und einer der meistgenutzten Söhne von Comme Il Faut in der Zucht. Auch der Halbbruder Jilbert van ’t Ruytershof, ebenfalls aus dieser Familie, erfreut sich großer Beliebtheit. Zu den Erfolgen dieser Linie zählt vor allem die exzellente Mutterlinie, angeführt von der zweiten Mutter Diamanthina v/h Ruytershof (1,60 m, Constant Van Paesschen), Vollschwester des herausragenden Springpferdes Emerald van ’t Ruytershof.  
Besonders bemerkenswert ist die zweite Mutter Prince Carethago, eine exzellente Carethago Z (1,60 m, Julien Epaillard), Siegerin des 5*-Großpreis CSI5* in Helsinki und platzierte in internationalen Turnieren in Basel, Zürich und London.  
Die Muttervater, der holsteinische Indoctro (Capitol I x Caletto II), trat bis 1,40 m an (Ulrich Kirchhof). Er zählt zu den führenden Springreproduzenten in den Niederlanden.

His sire, the Belgian-bred Pegase van ’t Ruytershof (Comme Il Faut x Cartani), a 1.55m showjumper ridden by Jeroen De Winter, is one of the most widely used sons of Comme Il Faut in breeding. Great interest also surrounds Jilbert van ’t Ruytershof, Pegase’s half-brother. Their popularity stems largely from their exceptional dam line, headed by the second dam Diamanthina van het Ruytershof (1.60m, Constant Van Paesschen), the full sister of the legendary stallion Emerald van ’t Ruytershof.
Looking further into this pedigree, the second dam of Prince Carethago, the outstanding Carethago Z (1.60m, Julien Epaillard), deserves special mention. She placed 5th in the CSI5-W Grand Prix of Helsinki* and was successfully placed in major international competitions in Basel, Zurich, and London.
The dam’s sire, the Holsteiner Indoctro (Capitol I x Caletto II), competed up to 1.40m level with Ulrich Kirchhof. He ranks among the top showjumping sires in the Netherlands.

Dużym zainteresowaniem cieszy się również og. Jilbert van ‘t Ruytershof, półbrat Pegase. Na ich popularność składa się m.in. doskonała rodzina żeńska, na czele z drugą matką, kl. Diamanthina v/h Ruytershof (1.60m, Constant Van Paesschen), pełną siostrą wybitnego og. Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof.
