Namarra is a coming 5 year old, 15.3hh, blue roan mare, and is registered with the American Draft Cross Registry as "Frosted Indigo". (Quarter Horse x Clydesdale)
Namarra is the same horse everyday - not mareish, not spooky, and can sit for weeks and ride off like she never missed a day. She knows vertical and lateral flexion, soft in the face, rides off your seat, has hip and shoulder control, backs easily, and knows her leads. Shes the easiest horse to catch, great to saddle, bridle, bathe, trailer, get her blanket on/off. She is great in a stall, and is very tidy!
Namarra will pick you up off the mounting block if you que her to do so, drops her head and takes the bit by herself during bridleing, and will happily stand all day tied anywhere. Great for the Farrier, fly spray, clippers, dewormer, etc.
Namarra has been trail rode plenty with groups and by herself. Shes happy to pop over jumps, drag logs or sleds, go through water, brush, cross ditches, and doesnt rush up or down hills.
She is also very well desensitized to alot of things - plastic bags, tarps, stock whips - shes just fine with it all!
Namarra has been Fox Hunting 2nd and 4th flight - she definitely enjoys the faster pace of the 2nd Flight, but she's also content to ride the slower pace of the 4th Flight. She is great with the hounds darting in and out of the woods, and other groups of horses coming by.

Namarra also has experience as a pack horse - she spent 6 months packing in Illinoise. It definitely shows in her confidence on the Trail and her willingness to do whatever is asked of her!
Outside of her riding experience and education, Namarra knows lots of groundwork, and is very broke in her body on the ground. She lunges wonderfully, knows how to yield her hips, forequarters, side pass away from you and towards you, roundpens, and knows several different backing exercises.
To sum everything up, Namarra is just super easy to get along with, and is uncomplicated in every way. Her training, education, and life experiences makes owning and having a horse what it should be - fun and enjoyable!
