Maverick is a pretty Solid black 14.3 hh 6 year old draft cross gelding. He is the perfect size with a solid build and good bone that he can carry anyone who can ride. Maverick is a gem on the trail! He has a nice walk on him and not one you have to peddle. Maverick has gone through rivers, muddy trails, up mountains and even swam in lakes. He has a nice stocky build that’s built to last. Maverick can handle technical trails without missing a beat, carefully picking his foot placement to ensure he and his rider are safe. Maverick handles what the mountain trails have surprised him with ease and confidence taking care of his rider. Maverick is also trained to come to a mounting block for easy mounting and dismounting. He has a smooth rocking-chair lope, nice neck reign, stop and backup. Maverick has been exposed to different obstacles and approaches them with confidence and curiosity. He is sacked out and will go through our obstacle course which includes a teddee todder bridge, pool noodles, tarps, and logs. He has been used to check cattle, get bulls in, been around dogs and loves to be groomed by the kids. Maverick has been rode by lots of different riders from kid, mom, dad, friends and more. He is the same horse after time off whether it’s a couple days weeks or months. Maverick is an easy keeper, comes to grain to be caught, a good for the farrier, hobble trained, and good to load.
