Ray-Ban is a hunk of a draft cross with all the size, muscle, and mass you could ask for wrapped up into an extremely well made jet black gelding. He gives off bad boy, too cool for school, tall dark and handsome vibes from head to toe. He is an absolute work horse that can absolutely earn his keep on the farm and then go for a leisure ride out on the ranch.
Ray-Ban is absolutely solid outside. He has been ridden out on the ranch, down the trails and down the roads. He is well behaved, cool calm and collected. Traffic safe. You can drop your reins and he will stand like a statue for as long as you ask him to. There isn’t a day too long or work too hard for this guy.
Ray-Ban is very well broke to drive both single and double. He knows a days work and has been used to plow fields, cut hay, and just about every other task on the farm. He will work either side and out pull anything. He truly seems to enjoy working.
Ray-Ban has an incredible jog that you can sit all day. He lopes smooth and collected. He can turn around and has a great stop on him. He will take absolutely anything you throw at him with an “I don’t care” vibe. He has also discovered that treats are pretty cool too.
Ray-Ban is sound, straight and clean legged. He wears a size 5 shoe and is good for the farrier, stands tied, hauls like a gentleman and does everything else he should with manners and respect. He has never offered to buck, bolt, or be silly in any way. In our opinion, he would best fit a confident rider. He sells with a current/clean PPE (see photos for documentation).
