Rusty is a big stout draft cross gelding that is THICK and stands 16.1 hands. He is at the prime age of 9 years old and is experienced and solid out on the trails, down the road, in the arena both Western and English and driving. He has been used to babysit the beginners and can step up and go jump for someone wanting to do a little more.
Rusty is outstanding out on the ranch and down the trails. He is sure footed and will cross anything and everything. He is calm and confident and has no issues going out alone or following along. He absolutely loves water! He will walk out and can go all day. He is a very comfortable ride.
Rusty rides English and has been started over fences. He is a natural and seems to enjoy it. He stands for the mounting block and is a simple and easy ride. He would make a great fox hunter.
Rusty is easy to make walk, trot, or lope. He will go as fast or as slow as you want. He is safe and uncomplicated and should fit most levels of riders. He is very well mannered, easy to catch, gets along with others and ties, hauls, and is good for the farrier. Rusty is sound and straight legged.
