Roxy is a beautifully coloured, up to height broodmare with the best temperament you could wish for. Straight mover with a wealth of hair, bone and a natural topline. 

She is a fantastic mother who has had 5 good foals now with no issues. 2 of the 3 fillies we have had from her have achieved Class 1, with the third of age to present next year. Has taken foal run out with the stallion or covered in hand. 

Her sire is a known for his fantastic temperament and is a successful showjumper to 1.10m. He is a proven sire of performance and show ponies, including the stallions Killaneen Boy (WH winner at the Royal Dublin Show) and Cahanagh’s Golden Boy (exported to France). 

Dam produced the beautiful Class 1 working hunter stallion, Rathcline Argon, and is sired by Clifden Supreme Champion Glencarrig Prince. She also produced the Class 1 stallion Rathcline Melvin’s Boy. 

Easy to do in all ways - box, travel, catch, bath etc. Good doer who lives out all year round. Friendly, gentle nature. Not sharp or spooky. 

Good strong feet and up to date with vaccinations and worming, just had the dentist and farrier. No vices.

Roxy is available as a broodmare only as although she is field sound and happy she has a weakened stifle from being kicked years ago, which sadly prevented her from going further in her ridden career. 

Very sadly available as we don’t plan on breeding in the near future and feel she is wasted as a field ornament.

Roxy is een prachtige, goed gevormde fokmerrie die de meest fantastische moeder is en nu 5 veulens zonder problemen heeft gefokt. Sterk, traditioneel type met een overvloed aan manen en staart, bot en een natuurlijke bovenlijn. 

Haar vader staat bekend om zijn fantastische temperament en is een succesvolle springpaard tot 1.10m. Hij is een bewezen vader van prestatie- en showpony’s, waaronder de hengsten Killaneen Boy (WH-winnaar op de Royal Dublin Show) en Cahanagh’s Golden Boy (geëxporteerd naar Frankrijk). 

Moeder heeft de prachtige Klasse 1 working hunter hengst, Rathcline Argon, gefokt en is gefokt door Clifden Supreme Champion Glencarrig Prince. Ze heeft ook de Klasse 1 hengst Rathcline Melvin’s Boy gefokt. 

Gemakkelijk in alle opzichten - in de trailer, reizen, vangen, wassen, enz. Goede eter die binnen of buiten leeft. Vriendelijke, zachtaardige aard. Niet scherp of schrikachtig. 

Goede sterke hoeven en up-to-date met vaccinaties en ontworming, net bij de tandarts en hoefsmid geweest. Vrij van enige ondeugden. 

Roxy is alleen beschikbaar als fokmerrie, want hoewel ze gezond en gelukkig in het veld is, heeft ze een oude knieblessure van een trap gekregen die haar helaas heeft verhinderd om een gereden carrière na te streven. 

Zeer verdrietig beschikbaar omdat we niet van plan zijn om in de nabije toekomst te fokken en we vinden dat ze verspild is als veldornament. 

Gelegen in Shetland, transport naar Aberdeen (AB11 5NP) kan gemakkelijk geregeld worden.
