I am looking for a loving home for my 8-year-old Icelandic mare Salóme frá Ölduhofi. She was gently and late backed after import and now has a versatile, solid basic training. Salóme is a five-gaited horse, and her favorite gait is definitely tölt in any situation. She is currently not trained in pace, but she has the potential for it. She is familiar with trail rides both alone and in groups, as well as riding in the arena, on the oval track, and groundwork/free work. 

In handling, she has a balanced character and is always well-behaved. Occasionally, she can be a bit curious when out riding, but she has no bad habits. She is good with the farrier and loading, standing at 143 cm tall. She has a mild summer eczema, which can be easily managed with a blanket. 

Enjoy her directly as a luxury leisure horse or, with further training, she also has potential for one or two competitions.
