• Moeder: Floortje – C-pony, 80 cm springen.

Meet Blue: a striking 3-year-old New Forest gelding with a beautiful buckskin coat, one blue eye and plenty of presence. Currently standing at 144 cm (approximately 14.1 hh), he has been lightly backed and is at the beginning of his ridden education.
Bred for versatility, Blue shows plenty of potential to develop into a lovely dressage and showjumping pony with the right guidance. A wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys producing a young pony and building a partnership along the way.
Affectionate, curious and full of character
Blue is very sweet and loves attention. He is calm to handle, with a lively streak and an inquisitive nature. We spend plenty of time with him, including grooming, in-hand walks, play, confidence-building exercises, lunging and gentle ridden work. He has also popped over his first small jumps. His education is progressing gradually, at a pace appropriate for his age.
A varied introduction to the world
On in-hand walks, Blue has explored roads, country lanes, woodland and heathland, encountering water and small bridges along the way. He is familiar with light traffic, children, chickens, sheep, donkeys and dogs. He also loads willingly into a two-horse trailer.
Blue is vaccinated, wormed and microchipped, and is well behaved for the farrier.
A versatile pedigree
• Sire: Tongerenhof Burberry – competed at Dutch Z1 dressage level and eligible to compete at Z2 in horse classes.
• Dam: Floortje – a C-category pony with showjumping experience at 80 cm. She can be seen at our yard.
We are looking for a lovely home where Blue’s affectionate character will be appreciated and he will receive the time and guidance to develop his sporting potential.
📍 Located in Heerlen, South Limburg, the Netherlands.
His training will continue, and his asking price will increase as his education progresses.
