Cariño ist ein noch 12 jähriger PRE Holsteiner Mix, 165cm groß, barhufer, rangniedrig und sehr sozial. Er gehörte einer Pferdewirtin und wurde von ihr als Freizeitpferd ausgebildet und geritten. Im Alter von 8 Jahren habe ich ihn übernommen und er hat mich jetzt 4 Jahre gut begleitet. Er war somit immer in liebevollen Händen. Er wurde solide ausgebildet und war nicht krank, er kennt Gelände (Gruppe und alleine), Halle, Reitplatz, (Doppel-)longe, Freispringen und Zirkuslektionen, welche er liebt. Wenn im Gelände ein Baumstamm auf unserem Weg liegt machen wir auch einen kleinen Sprung, das habe ich aber nie weiter gefördert, er hat aber Spaß daran. Auch meine Reitbeteiligung kommt gut mit ihm zurecht. Da er aber ein kleiner Schisser ist, braucht er schon Sicherheit von einem erfahrenen Reiter, welcher konsequent ist, ansonsten findet er schnell raus, wie man sich vor etwas drückt. Daher kein Anfängerpferd. Im Umgang ist er super lieb und unkompliziert und macht einfach Spaß. Er ist klar im Kopf und bleibt händelbar, auch wenn er etwas gruselig findet. 2019 konnte er Showerfahrung auf der Hund und Pferd im Tagesprogramm sammeln. Zuerst stand er im Offenstall, was er super fand, aktuell steht er aber auch zufrieden in einer Paddockbox und tagsüber auf der Wiese. Umstellen und neue Gruppe waren kein Problem. Ich gebe ihn in gute Hände ab (gerne wieder Offenstallhaltung), weil ich meine Ausbildung nun abschließe und mein weiterer Lebensweg ihm zeitlich nicht gerecht werden würde. I took him over at age 8, and he has been a reliable companion for the past four years. He has always been in caring hands. Cariño has a solid training foundation and has never been ill. He is experienced in various environments, including group and solo rides in the terrain, indoor arena, riding ring, (double) lunging, free jumping, and circus tricks, which he loves. When we encounter a tree trunk on our trail, we sometimes do a small jump over it, although I have not specifically trained him for this; he enjoys it nonetheless. My riding partner also gets along well with him. However, since he is somewhat timid, he needs a confident, experienced rider who is consistent, as he can quickly figure out how to avoid certain situations. Therefore, Cariño is not suitable for beginners. He is extremely friendly and uncomplicated in handling, making him a joy to work with. He is clear-minded and remains manageable even if he finds certain things a bit spooky. In 2019, he gained some show experience at the "Dog and Horse" day event. He initially lived in an open stable but is currently comfortably housed in a paddock box and spends his days on the pasture. Moving and integrating into a new group was no problem for him. I am offering him to a good home (preferably again in an open stable environment) because I am finishing my training and my future commitments would not allow me to give him the attention he deserves.
