She is a *** performance mare with a dressage breeding index of 133. Vaiana is by the Grand Prix stallion Valverde, combining some of Europe's top dressage bloodlines, including Vivaldi, Ampere, and Sandro Hit. Her offspring Betelgeuse W (by Be Sure) was selected for the SWB Elite Foal Auction 2024. The grand-dam, Samoa, holds the title of State Premium Mare in Baden-Württemberg. The great-granddam, Donna D. Heraldika, produced Farao (by Foundation), who competed at M-level dressage. Be Sure was named Premium Stallion in Hanover in 2021 and confirmed his exceptional quality at the 35-day test, where he scored 9s for trot, canter, rideability, and potential. Praised for his outstanding temperament and willingness to work, he went on to be crowned Champion Stallion in Herning. In 2022, he qualified for the Danish 4-year-old Championship with an impressive 93.2% and reached the finals at the World Young Horse Championships as a 5-year-old. He also won the Bundeschampionat as a 6-year-old. Already, he has sired licensed sons, including the SWB stallion Balvenie VH. His sire, Benicio, is a successful Grand Prix competitor with more than 40 approved sons and numerous promising offspring advancing to higher levels.
