He stands quietly and patiently for whatever you ask, and he’ll even pick you up from a mounting block or fence, making getting on and off simple and safe.
His versatility extends well beyond the ranch. Banner carried the kids in the Kiddie Parade during the Cody Stampede, earning Best Horse honors. The following two days, he served as an outrider horse in the Cody parades, confidently weaving through marching bands, fire trucks, tractors, floats, and thousands of spectators with the same calm demeanor he displays on the trail.
In the mountains, Banner is the horse everyone wants to ride. He’ll confidently lead, follow, ride in the middle, or head out alone. He crosses bridges, rivers, downfall, bogs, steep terrain, and deadfall with ease. He’s comfortable around cattle and dogs, has seen the wildlife of Yellowstone, and has spent his life in grizzly country. Nothing seems to rattle him.
