Laredo is a 10 year old buckskin gelding standing 15 hands tall. He is a wonderful all around gelding! Laredo has been ridden on the ranch to gather cattle. He has a nice one hand neck rein and is soft in the bridle. He will side pass to open and close gates. He is an excellent trail horse. He has been on numerous camping trips in the mountains. He can traverse steep and rocky terrain and remain calm cool and collected. Laredo is super solid and confident anywhere you take him! He will cross water, jump downed logs, he is traffic safe and can be ridden alone or with others. Load him up in the trailer and he will ride quietly to his destination. Unload him, saddle up, and go ride. He is the same easy going horse no matter what his surroundings are. He has seen all sorts of wildlife and never bats an eye. Laredo is as close to bombproof as a horse can be! He can be caught anywhere in the pasture and is regularly caught and groomed by our 6 year old daughter. He loves attention and has excellent manners in the barn. Laredo can be stalled or lived turned out, he is an easy keeper who gets along with others in the pasture. He stands for the vet and farrier. He will stand tied in the barn all day long without pawing or getting worked up. He stands for a bath and being clipped.
