Nelson ist sehr robust gebaut und kann jeden Reiter tragen! Er ist ein Meister auf Trails und stets sicher auf den Beinen. Er überwindet jede Hürde, geht durch Wasser, überquert Baumstämme, Brücken, Buschwerk – alles kein Problem für ihn! Sie können Nelson überall reiten: auf den Trails, durch die Stadt, auf der Straße – er bleibt ruhig und gelassen. Er geht Schritt, Trab, Galopp – im Dressurviereck ebenso wie auf dem Trail, immer mit der richtigen Führungsrichtung. Nelson verfügt über sehr gute Bremsen und hält stets auf Kommando an. Sein Antritt ist zuverlässig. Er geht gemütlich voran auf den Trails, auf der Straße oder im Reitplatz, kann aber auch das Tempo erhöhen, um englisch zu reiten, zu springen oder Trail-Hindernisse zu überwinden. Nelson liebt das Springen und sieht dabei einfach entzückend aus! Er ist leicht zu satteln, abzuzäumen und zu pflegen. Nelson wäre ein vielseitiges Familienpferd, das sowohl bei lokalen Shows, als auch beim Trailreiten oder Campingausflügen Freude macht. Nelson is a master on the trails and is always sure footed! He will cross any obstacle, go through water, cross logs, go over bridges, through brush, you name it…he will go through it! You can ride Nelson anywhere, on the trails, through town, down the road and he doesnt get exicted! He will walk, trot, lope, with ease in the arena and always picks up the correct lead. Nelson has great brakes, and always stops when asked. His go-button is spot on. He will leisurely plug along on the trails, down the road or in the arena or easily pick the speed up to ride english, jump, or even do some trail obsticals. Nelson loves to jump and looks adorable doing it! He is easy to saddle and un-saddle as well as groom! Nelson would be a great all around family horse to take to local shows for the entire family to show, and do all the events… then turn around and go on a trail ride or camping trip. He is very easy to catch in the field, and is always the first one to meet you at the gate. He loves attention and to be pampered! He does great being turnt out with other horses, mares or geldings. Nelson est construit très robuste et peut porter n’importe quelle taille de cavalier ! C’est un expert en randonnée, toujours sûr de lui sur tous types de terrains. Il franchit aisément tous les obstacles, traverse l’eau, passe sur des rondins, des ponts, dans des broussailles… il passe partout ! Vous pouvez monter Nelson en tout lieu : en forêt, en ville, sur la route, et il reste calme et détendu. Il marche, trotte, galoppe avec facilité dans l’arène, en prenant toujours la bonne allure. Nelson a de très bons freins et s’arrête toujours sur commande. Son bouton d’allure est précis. Il peut se balader tranquillement sur les sentiers, en ville ou en arène, ou accélérer aisément pour du dressage, du saut ou des obstacles en trail. Nelson adore sauter et il a l’air adorable en le faisant ! Il est facile à seller, déseller et à brosser. Il se montre très sociable avec d’autres chevaux, qu’ils soient hongres ou juments. Il se tient bien pour le maréchal-ferrant et le bain. Il reste attaché toute la journée ou la nuit sans faire de problème. Très peu exigeant, il reste bien en forme simplement avec du foin de prairie. Il n’a pas besoin de fer.
