Chuck Norris is the perfect partner for all the crimes a kid could want to do!!! He is the prime age of 8 years old. He still has many years of growing up with kids and making their childhood dreams come true. If he sees you coming to the gate, he’ll meet you there everytime ready to put his head in the halter. He is easy to catch and LOVES people. He will follow the kids around for hours like he is a dog just waiting to be loved on and told what to do next. He rides like a big horse and has the mindset of one. He doesn’t mind a long day or work doing playday events, working on the ranch, trail riding or just stand being tied for hours while the little ones brush him. Chuck has done countless playdays and knows the events. He will walk, trot and lope all the events and go the speed you want him to. He can actually be very competitive with his times compared against full size horses and would be perfect for a little kid that is really wanting to start running barrel, poles, straights, etc. and then after they go compete, they can go home and jump on him bareback and just have fun. He will also ride English and go over jumps smoothly. My kids love loping him around the round pen bareback going over the jumps pretending they are in a jumping competition. He is very safe and has never offered to buck, kick or bite. He is not spooky. He doesn’t need to be warmed up no matter how long he has been turned out. He has been rode around traffic, dogs, goats, cows, traffic, gravel roads, through water and ditches. None of it bothers him. He’ll ride amongst all the big horses at a playday in the warm up pen, arena and parking lot and acts like one of them. Chuck Norris has very good ground manners, he stands still for brushing, saddling, fly spray, having all 4 feet cleaned out, etc. He is easily led up to a mounting block/fence (even bridleless/halterless) and will stand still for kids to get on. He is very easy to bridle for kids, loads in/out of the trailer with easily and safely, he isn’t pushy when they lead him, etc. Chuck is sound, healthy and ready to go have fun with a kiddo!
