Doodles is an adorable 10 hand bay splash pony gelding who is the epitome of in your pocket and friendly! He is everything a family searches for in a pony for their kids and then some. He is easy to catch, seriously, I think he would live in your home if you let the door cracked. Doodles will leave his pasture pals the moment he notices you out and about and will follow you like a puppy all day long.
Doodles is the rarity of the pony world. He is easy to catch, will trot behind you just to see where you’re headed, is THE KINDEST pony for our daughter, picks up his feet when she asks, stands with his head down for her to halter him and brush his mane, and truly LOVES to be in your kiddos presence.
We have ponied our two year old daughter all over the ranch and in the arena on Doodles all summer long and she has learned SO much from him! He has a cute little trot and follows along effortlessly behind your horse whether you pony him or turn him loose with your kiddo.
Doodles also rides independently, and listens to his rider well in a halter or hackamore. He will walk, trot, lope, and knows his leads, but has solely been leadline for us where Kooper is just two and doesn’t ride on her own quite yet. I would say he fits any level of rider and is easy to pilot independently as well.
Doodles is the pony you can turn your kid loose with, and KNOW without doubt that he will take care of your little one. He truly isn’t one we want to let go of, but we have managed to collect a pony and horse in every size for Kooper to be mounted from 10 hands to 16 hands. Doodles deserves the very best home and we know he will find just that, or he can stay and live out his days here with us!
As with any of our horses, if you EVER need to rehome him, be it your kids outgrew him, or he grew old, he ALWAYS has a spot in our pasture to return to!
