After retiring from Chuckwagon racing over three years ago, Teddy has enjoyed a second career as a riding horse, primarily focused on English flatwork. He remains sound, healthy, and in regular work, currently being ridden 3–4 times per week.
Teddy is an honest, willing, forward horse with lovely paces and a strong work ethic. He is affectionate, personable, and loves attention. He is always the first one at the gate to greet you. He enjoys being part of the action and thrives when he has a job to do.
He has excellent ground manners, stands quietly for the farrier and vet, and does not require special shoeing. Teddy does not buck, rear, or bolt. He is up to date on 💉, dental care, and farrier work, requires only light maintenance, and is ready to continue his working career.
Teddy’s ideal 🏠 is with an experienced rider who appreciates a forward, athletic Thoroughbred. He is not a beginner or children’s horse and is best suited to someone confident and knowledgeable who can enjoy his movement and enthusiasm for work. Teddy thrives with consistency and regular riding.  While Teddy can be ridden outside the arena, he prefers having a rider who can provide confident guidance and is happiest with a job and a routine.
