5 Year Old OTTB!

Nitro is a 16.2hh, 5-year-old OTTB (turning 6 in March).

I’ve had him for a little over 8 months, and he’s the biggest sweetheart. He is currently barefoot and stands well. He has been around children, dogs, and cats, and has done perfectly fine with all of them. He loves other horses.

When I first got him, I did extensive desensitizing and groundwork with him, and he handled everything well. He was ridden over the summer but has had a few months off. He would need a confident rider, not a beginner. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or finances to keep him going, as I am currently focused on my other horse.

He is used to snowmobiles, race cars, and other commotion. He lives outside 24/7 and is not spooky at all. I really wish I had clicked with this guy, but I believe finding him the right home is what’s best for him.
