Hico ist ein zuverlässiger Kumpel bei allen Situationen im Gelände. Seine Vergangenheit als Galopper macht sich in seiner Art die gewollte Arbeit zielstrebig zu meistern bemerkbar, jedoch ohne Nervosität und Hektik. Er lässt sich in jeder Gangart gut kontrollieren und anhalten. Kann vorne, in der Gruppe, oder hinter den Pferden geritten werden. Er geht problemlos alleine weg und bleibt auch am Stall alleine, ohne Unruhe. In Gruppenhaltung ist er mit allen Pferden verträglich, eher untergeordnet. Er ist gesund, keine Sehnenprobleme, Allergien usw. Hufschmeid, Pferdeanhänger problemlos, kennt auch Führanlage. Bei einer jungen, nicht zu schweren Reiterin würde sich Hico sehr wohl fühlen. Ist super geeignet zum Wanderreiten, kleinere Distanzritte, Bodenarbeit und einfach als ein guter Freund zum lieb haben.
