We are selling our Icelandic mare Svarta-Fina from Birkenberg, born in 2021.

She has everything you could wish for:
• Excellent gaitedness and top temperament
• Outstanding pedigree – her dam, twice World Champion for France, is the legendary mare Nattrun
• Very good conformation, currently standing at 1.40 m
• Currently being backed and showing a very easy ride
• Sensitive, eager, yet relaxed with new experiences

Fina has the potential to become a fantastic riding horse with her calm nature and strong genetic qualities. Her mother, Lineik von Asgard, was highly successful in tölt races, tölt tests, five-gait competitions, and tölt evaluations. She was also a reliable partner in the field, in hand, and despite her extreme speed in tölt, she could always be stopped promptly in any situation.

Her sire, Náttar von Mönchhof, is a son of the legendary pass mare Nattrun v. Troellastadir, bred by Jens Füchtenschnieder. He has the appearance of a small Friesian with excellent basic gaits and a beautiful tölt.

Unfortunately, Fina has a mild eczema. However, she was able to stay outside with a blanket all summer in the herd without issues.

This presents a good opportunity, as she is being sold well below her value due to this condition. Fina can stay with us at the farm or continue her training here (Trainer A, C). The price will increase with further training.
