"Candlelight🕯️ is a good honest trail horse!! She is the kind that is safe for anyone to ride. A well seasoned horse with thousands of miles under her belt. She is the perfect size of 14.2 hands tall. Not too big not too small! And she is the perfect age of 14 yrs old. 

Candelight is a really cool champagne colored Missouri Fox Trotter gaited mare. You don’t see them colored like her everyday. She is a trail riders dream horse. She a naturally laid back easy going type horse. Has a really gentle smooth gait. She will walk or kick her up to her gait. She will go both slow or fast in her gaits all the time on a loose rein. You don't have to fight her or constantly pull her back. You just set the speed to your liking. As soon as you are ready she will drop right back down into a walk. She is a super smoooooth ride!!!! And oh so easy and fun. If you have back or hip issues and need a comfortable ride, this is her. 

We have used her to ride around the ranch and check the sheep. Yes surprisingly she likes being around sheep and likes being used around the ranch. We have took her on many mountain rides through all types of terrain. We have let the kids ride her through town. Absolutely nothing fazes this girl. Not at all spooky or watchy. Absolutely no buck or silliness when riding her. We never have to warm her up or tune her up before we take her on a ride. Even if we have went 3-6 month without riding her, we can catch her fresh out on the pasture and go.

Candlelight is a true lady to be around on the ground. She absolutely loves attention. She stands tied at the trailer, stands for farrier, vet, and bathes well. She stalls well, and enjoys her turn out time. She gets along with other horses well. She is a very easy keeper. She has been rode in rocky terrain, city traffic, trains, and cattle, all of which she has handled very well. You cannot rattle her or stir her up.


Candlelight is a super easy keeper. Requires no maintenance of any kind. She can go bare foot or put shoes on her. She just doesn’t need shoes unless you plan on riding in a lot of rocks. You can stall her or turn her out. Doesn't matter to her. She is easy. PLUS she sells 100% sounds with no health issues at all. She did have a pre vet evaluation done included in the pictures.
