Check out this mound of cuteness named Otis! Otis is a four year old percheron cross gelding standing 14 hands tall and extra thick made. What a perfect size for the whole family and the right age to take in any direction you desire. He is cute headed, kind eyed and will get you noticed wherever you take him. He has that stunning gray color with big dapples and is cute as button in person.
This gorgeous gelding is well broke to both ride and drive. He has been hooked to pull heavy farm equipment and is just as well broke single. He is traffic safe and has seen the sites. He has been worked in the field, driven alongside the highway next to big trucks, and all over the farm. We have given all of the kids wagon rides and he is super fun to take the family out on an enjoyable wagon ride with.
Otis is just as phenomenal to ride. Otis has seen tons of coutryside and had a ton of trail riding miles put on him. He happily crosses logs, water, or any obstacle you might meet. He will ride off by himself and in any position in a group. In the arena, Otis will lope correct circles with the smoothest, rocking chair lope and cute jog trot. He will push up into a beautiful extended trot, has a big stop, is soft in the face and carries a naturally low headset. He is content to go any speed you ask and is very comfortable to ride in all gaits.
Otis is a big puppy dog to be around and loves attention. He picks up his feet and is good to catch/saddle/trailer/bathe etc. He has been ridden by all ages and levels of riders. Otis has had bull whips cracked off of him, pulled the sled behind him, been taken swimming in the lake and has taken everything we have thrown at him in stride. He wants to be your friend and aims to please.
Otis is very versatile and has the brains, riding foundation, size and mentality to excel in a magnitude of disciplines. He has worked cattle and is a good ranch type horse. He also rides in English tack and we have taken him over jumps. If trail riding is your style, he has you covered and you'll have one of the best looking horses on the ride! The sky is the limit with this wonderful, young gelding.
