Meet Raven; an exceptionally well-trained crossbred gelding that is a real pleasure to saddle up and ride! Raven is a 2022 model Percheron x Quarter Horse gelding that stands 16h and wears a #4 shoe. He is a true gentle giant that always loves attention, being groomed, saddled and ridden. He has been on our farm approximately one year and has been used for various farm work under harness as a team with other draft horses. Plus, he has been in steady training in our program as a saddle horse for a full year.
Raven rides around handier than most crossbreds with a smooth collected trot and lope. He has a nice, steady ground covering walk that is perfect for riding the trails. He lopes even circles, correctly picking up his leads on cue, and has a fantastic stop for a crossbred. Raven is a horse that the entire family can truly enjoy. He has been ridden by complete beginners, young children, and trainers; he gets along with everyone! Raven enjoys trail obstacles and is very confident, steady and surefooted, no matter what you encounter on the trails. If you like a horse that wants to be your buddy each and every day, here he is!
