Walter is a 4 year old blue roan pony gelding standing 11.3 hands tall. He is sweet as can be, eats up all the attention he gets from everyone, and loves treats! He is easy to catch and handle. In the arena, down the trail, through town- he is a safe, super smooth, and sane! He stands tied, leads, tacks up easy, stands to be mounted, great for the farrier and loads great! He is 100% sound and has no vices! Out on the trail Walter is sure footed and quietly crosses anything you put in his path weather that be water, logs, or ditches. He does not spook at wildlife and rides quietly down the trail the entire time. Walter has been ridden by many kids and each one falls in love with him! He will follow along with other horses or he rides out alone just as well! Walter takes care of his rider every step of the way!
Walter will walk trot and lope when asked. He will cross the tarp and carry the flag with ease! We have roped the dummy on him and a rope doesn’t faze him! Walter is accustomed to anything you want to throw at him! Walter also has a few tricks up his sleeve as well including, laying down and we are working on him bowing. We’ve taken him inside the house and enjoyed giving him attention while sitting on the couch!
