Where do I even start with a great BABYSITTING UNICORN gelding like this one! Hotrod has been part of our family for along time now and has baby sat so many kids, we are saddened by this decision but the girls have decided to let another little kid enjoy him. Hotrod is a 5 yr old beautiful 38” chocolate palomino paint gelding with a beautiful thick mane and tail and my my would you look at those dapples! He has manners and rides around like a big horse, he’s as broke as broke gets and I would trust him with any kid, I trust my kids to ride him anywhere, including BRIDLE-LESS! Absolutely NO kick or buck in him! He has been more miles and seen more country than most people! When I say he’s been there and done that I mean it, he knows what a hard days work is outside in the country and will last all day. His video says it all!! He is one handed broke, neck reins, and has a good stop! My kids have done every bit of training on him, he has always been willing to go or do anything they have asked. He will ease thru the creeks/ponds, thickets, traffic safe, train safe, machinery safe, loud noises don’t bother him. He’s been to ropings, barrel races, jumping jumps, rodeos, spent many of long days working cows, dragging calves, hog hunting, swimming ponds, tied out camping, and been thru every aspect of the woods from thickets to boggy creeks, and trail riding down the roads. Trains honking and going by don’t bother him, he will ride right next to it. He even rides ENGLISH! My kids love jumping him even BRIDLE-LESS. We carry multiple buckets of feed strapped over his back to help carry to feed. Hotrod has also been used to carry the American flag for the National Anthem at rodeos. He is BOMBPROOF, absolutely no spook at all and will go anywhere he is pointed, he never refuses or says no. He is a once in a lifetime time pony. Hotrod is one of those that is as honest as the day is long and is NOT your typical pony. He’s easy to catch, bathe, and hauls like a champ. He has the biggest heart and try of anything we have on the place. Both of my girls 7 and 10 catch him by themselves, saddle, bridle, and ride him everywhere with ZERO help from an adult. I trust this pony enough for little kids to run up to him from the front or back and he will stand like a rock. Hotrod will ride BRIDLELESS, you can rope either end on him team roping, pop bull whips, run barrels, run poles, goats tie, TRICK RIDE, breakaway, and trail ride! Hotrod will walk, trot, lope, or go as fast as you want in all the events! Hotrod is going really good on the breakaway dummy and has been started breakawaying live calves. He is the coolest little guy around and everywhere we go he gets ALL the attention. Hotrod leads, loads, ties, bathes, clips, and stands for the farrier. Hotrod will ground tie all day long! Wherever you get off of him he will stay there till you come back. My kids get off of him in the middle of the drive way while they go in and eat lunch, get a snack, and 30 mins to an hour later, he will still be in the same place you left him! Hotrod gets along with all our other horses, goats, dogs, cats, and steers. He’s an easy keeper and stays fat on air. I really can’t say enough good things about him.
